Research Participant Call Out

The Aim of this research is to: 

To explore the lived experiences of multiracial trainees on a counselling and/or psychotherapy training course in the UK

As part of this project I would like to interview you if:           

• You are currently in your 3^rd Year or later years of a UKCP or BACP accredited counselling and/or psychotherapy training course based in the UK 
• OR You are a qualified therapist who qualified in 2022 or later
• You identify as multiracial 

This project has been and has been approved by the Minster Centre’s Ethics Committee and will be conducted in line with the BACP’s Ethical Guidelines on Research.

Who is doing the research : 

My name is Saky Otten, and I am a qualified integrative counsellor and I am engaging with this research as part of an MA in Integrative Counselling and  Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre. 

What will participation involve

I will invite you to take part in an interview that will last 60-75 minutes. We will agree a time that is convenient to both of us, and meet either online over a secure platform or in-person at a confidential therapy room or a convenient location agreed by both of us. 

After the interview has taken place we will have the opportunity to debrief if you choose to
